Butter “UR” Biscuit was born from the love of family. Years ago, my family and I made a move from New York to Georgia. In the five years I lived there I had the opportunity to experience authentic soul food and the way this style of cooking provides a place where family, friends and even strangers congregate to enjoy the flavors and comfort of sharing a delicious meal together. It amazed me how something as simple as a warm biscuit being spread with honey butter can bring a warm comfort to the soul. Being of Latin Caribbean decent myself, this type of food experience was a solid reminder of my own childhood. That is where the concept of
Butter “UR” Biscuit Latin Soul Cuisine originated.

After graduating Culinary School, I dedicated my time to experimenting with Latin spices to create my version of authentic Soul Food dishes that will activate the food lovers in all of us. My mission is to create a memorable culinary experience using fresh quality ingredients prepared in a scratch made kitchen. My dishes will provide the foodie in you with a taste of comfort with health conscious options.
